AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider – Classroom Course (2025 Guidelines)
Earn your American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification with this hands-on, instructor-led CPR class. Designed for healthcare professionals and first responders, this course teaches how to perform high-quality CPR, use an AED, and manage choking emergencies for adults, children, and infants.

Aligned with the 2025 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC, the course emphasizes real-world practice, team-based response, and critical lifesaving skills.

Format & Duration

  • Format: Instructor-led, in-person, with didactic review, skills stations, scenario-based practice, and skills testing. 

  • Approximate Duration: 4 to 4½ hours (with breaks).

Prerequisites & Materials

  • Participants are required to bring the AHA BLS Provider manual (or e-book)

  • Dress in comfortable clothing suitable for hands-on training and kneeling on the floor.

Textbook Requirement: You are required to have the current AHA 2025 Guidelines textbook (released November 2025) for this course. You must bring your physical book to class or have access to the eBook version during the course. CPST will provide a device for viewing your eBook purchase if needed.
