This course is designed for those who have already purchased or plans to purchases the 2020 HeartCode BLS online course with registration and want a more flexiblity with scheduling and performing the session in your location via Zoom. Who should take this course?
This class is designed for those who work in the healthcare field, such as nurses, traveling nurses, nursing students, dentists, pre-med students, pharmacists, and EMTs. Although, anyone may take this course. Topics covered will be geared toward those in a healthcare environment. Meets Healthcare Recruiter Requirements.
What the class covers: The class topics include CPR/AED for Adults, children, and infants and obstructed airways.
What the Students Receive: You will receive an AHA BLS Provider card valid for two years.
Enrollment through the AHA website does not secure a skills appointment. Learners must register for their training here, complete the online portion of the course (Heartcode BLS), and schedule an appointment for skills.
You are responsible for proving a device with internet access. This device must have sound and video. The skills session can not take place if the instructor can not see and speak to you. You will be required to perform your skills on all BSL equipment under the direction/Supervision of an American Heart Association Instrucuctor.
You have the option to pick up the needed equipment or have it shipped to you. Upon completion of the course your BLS Card is not released until equipment is returned in the same condition it was released to you.

Your confirmation email will include access to the American Heart Association Heartcode BLS online course (If purchased). The online course must be completed 10 hours prior to your appointment time or it will be canceled.
If you are looking for a date or time ourside of our scheduled courses please conact us and will try and accomodate.
You are required to complete the Heartcode BLS online course prior to your hands on skills session. IF this regulation is not met prior to your hands on skills session your session will be canceled without refund. You need BLS equipment for this session.
